U.S. Green Building Council        

The U.S. Green Building Council leads a national consensus for producing a new generation of buildings that deliver high performance inside and out.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) promotes achievement in the following key areas of building impact:

·         Neighborhood Planning

LEED Green Building Rating Systems are used for building Certification. LEED has four levels of certification: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Within each category, all LEED buildings must first achieve a set of minimum standards or “prerequisites” which ensures that every certified building embodies the essential elements of a green building.

LEED, A.P. Services:

A LEED A.P. (“Accredited Professional”) must pass a rigorous exam that tests expertise in LEED and integrated design. LEED AP’s play an important role on the project team, and may be practicing architects, engineers, interior designers, or other professionals.
